Worship at St Mary's Church, Halesworth
Worship and Ministry Statement
St. Mary’s has open doors all year round for to sit, to pray or to think. The Lady Chapel offers an opportunity to light a candle. We are an inclusive Church and proud of it. The quality and quantity of the worship available at St. Mary’s is strong. Always developing and finding new forms of worship to be able to grow in faith and love to God. People come together and share Common Worship – whether the rite used is CW or ASB.
The Blyth Valley ‘Worship Advisory Committee’ have recently re- lunched a number of service books to bring inline what we as a congregation fed into the WAC during 2010. The Local Ecumenical Partnership Vision statement says we will model in our common life the words from the Epistle to the Ephesians: “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all” – We aim to seek to be ever more truly part of the One, Holy, catholic and Apostolic Church.
