There is a busy Village Hall in the village, shared with Blyford www.onesuffolk.co.uk/HoltonVillage/Villagehall Regular weekly events are the Badminton Club, Karate & Martial Arts Club, Walpole & Cookley Bowls Club, a mother & toddler group, and on Sundays, the Well Church meets at 10am. The Halesworth & District University of the Third Age meets here monthly on Tuesday afternoons. The Village Hall is available for private functions, and is licensed for the sale of alcohol. Please contact the Lettings Officer, Mrs Dawn Davis, tel. 01986 873640 for further information.
The village pub, The Lord Nelson, is undergoing renovation at present (Sept.2011) and we look forward to being able to pop in for a drink or a meal in the near future.
Market Fields, almost-the-village-shop, shares a site with Holton Garden Centre in Holton Road just outside the village boundary. Market Fields offers a good range of fresh fruit & vegetables, dairy products and meat, groceries and alcohol; and the Garden Centre provides everything you want for the garden and for living outside during the summer
