Pastoral Ministry Team
This group meets every third Monday, usually in the afternoon, and is open to anyone who is involved in pastoral visiting or other forms of pastoral work, such as volunteering in the Community Larder or at the Pear Tree Centre. We review what we’re doing, give each other support and encouragement, plan visiting and home communions, pray for individuals and identify concerns.
We have started running quarterly Pastoral Ministry Workshops for people across the deanery, which provide a time to learn more about what pastoral ministry involves, to share ideas and to support each other. In 2025, the focus will be on healing ministries within pastoral care.
