Spring has Sprung
Photograph Competition
This spring across the 14 Blyth Valley Churches we held a photograph competition with the theme 'Spring has Sprung'. We had two categories, one for under 16 and an over 16 category. To the right is the lovely picture taken by Kade Brabbin aged 9 years. Below is the photo from the over 16 winner Emma Shelley.
All of the photographs entered will be displayed in St Mary's Church in Chediston in the Easter Holidays. Saturday 5th until 21st April 2025. Please do pop along and see all of the wonderful photos submitted.



The Revd David Sochan Retires
On Sunday 4th May at the 10am service at St Mary’s Halesworth, after 25 years of ministry (the last 10 years here in the Blyth Valley) the Revd David Sochon celebrated his last Holy Communion, hanging up his license to officiate. It was a joy to share the occasion with David and his family. The singing was inspiring. With hymns taken from the days of Billy Graham including Just As I Am Without One Plea.
